Eine Schl\u00fcsselfunktion dieses Peptids besteht darin, die Phosphorylierung von Tyrosinresten in Rezeptorzellen zu stimulieren. Sobald der Rezeptor phosphoryliert ist, erh\u00e4lt er eine Protein-Tyrosinkinase-Aktivit\u00e4t und interagiert mit einer Vielzahl von Zielproteinen in der Zelle, wodurch Signalkaskaden in Gang gesetzt werden.
