Oil extraction
Rose oil is derived from hand-picked damask rose flowers, which are distilled during their short period of full bloom, when the flowers reach their highest intensity of aroma. Due to the extremely complex production process, rose oil is one of the most expensive essential oils – it takes as much as 5 tons of petals to produce 1 kg of oil.
