Application
African plum extract is used in supplementation, mainly in products for men designed to treat prostate and urinary function. The extract promotes relief of symptoms associated with prostate hypertrophy, such as frequent urination and difficulty starting urination. Phytosterols from African plum bark also have a positive effect on men’s hormonal balance and blood vessel health. The extract can also be used as an ingredient in hair cosmetics. It exhibits nourishing and moisturizing properties, improves the elasticity of hair and protects it from harmful environmental factors.
