Properties:
Sunflower press cake comes in the form of pressed flakes or dark brown pellets. It has a natural, slightly nutty odor well accepted by cattle.
Sunflower press cake is a valuable source of vegetable protein (about 30-40%) and crude fiber (15-25%), which helps promote proper fermentation in the rumen. Cake is also rich in minerals such as phosphorus, magnesium and calcium, which support bone health. Thanks to the presence of natural antioxidants and fatty acids, it improves the condition of the skin, coat and supports the animals’ overall immunity.
Use in cattle nutrition:
Sunflower press cake can be used as an ingredient in compound feeds or directly in the feed ration. It is an excellent substitute for soybean meal and rapeseed meal. It is suitable for both dairy and beef cattle, promoting healthy muscle development and increasing milk yield in cows.
