Dried linden flower comes from wild-growing small-leaved linden(Tilia cordata) trees, whose inflorescences are hand-harvested during full bloom – from June to July. They are then naturally dried and gently crushed to preserve the maximum of bioactive components. The linden flower is characterized by a delicately sweet taste and a specific, mild aroma, and is light yellow-green in color.
The richness of flavonoids (at least 0.7% in terms of quercetin), plant mucilages, essential oils and quercetin makes the linden flower widely used both in home infusions and in the herbal or cosmetic industry. An infusion of linden has an inflammatory effect, relieves inflammation of the throat and mouth, promotes immunity and makes it easier to fall asleep. Baths with linden bring relaxation and tranquility after a stressful day. The anti-allergic properties of quercetin further help relieve allergy symptoms and skin irritation.
Thanks to rigorous selection and quality control, dried linden flower meets strict safety standards: no organic and mineral impurities (less than 0.5% and 0.3%), moisture content less than 11%, and ash content does not exceed 9%. The product is free of microbial contaminants, alkaloids, pests and mites. It is packed in paper bags, stored in dry conditions at 5-25°C, protected from light and foreign odors.
