Distillates
Distillates are a group of products obtained by distillation, a process that separates or purifies liquids by evaporation and subsequent condensation. Distillation is one of the oldest methods of separating and purifying substances, used in a variety of fields, from alcohol production to water purification and extraction of plant essences.

Distillates can come from a variety of raw materials, and their properties depend on the type and quality of these raw materials and the specifics of the distillation process. This process is based on differences in the boiling points of the individual components of the mixture. In the case of plant distillation, where the following are obtained
hydrolates
and essential oils, steam is passed through the plant material, extracting its volatile molecules. Later, the steam is cooled, leading to condensation and separation of water from the oils.
