The flavor is most often found in liquid form on a glycol carrier and can be used in both the food and cosmetic industries. In food applications, it finds a place, among others, in the production of malt soft drinks, sweets with unusual beer notes, as well as in snacks and instant dishes, to which it imparts an original, dry flavor.
In the cosmetics industry, it is used as an interesting fragrance addition in men’s product lines – shower gels, shampoos or lotions – where it builds associations with naturalness, craftsmanship and freshness.
The beer aroma is resistant to high temperatures, so it can be used in processes that require heat treatment. It is distinguished by its good stability and excellent reproduction of typical beer accents – with no alcohol content and no fermentation. It can also be used in products aimed at vegans and those avoiding alcohol, where it serves only an aroma and flavor function.
