Strawberry seed oil – applications
Strawberry seed oil has many cosmetic applications. It can be used to prepare face creams, nail cosmetics, hair products, balms, and regenerating-moisturizing bath products. This makes it a popular choice among cosmetics manufacturers.

It can be used for all skin types – combination, sensitive, irritation-prone, and dry. Remember that for the oil to show maximum benefits, it must be applied to previously cleansed facial skin.

Strawberry seed oil is non-comedogenic – this means it does not clog pores and does not cause new blackheads. It is suitable for daily skincare.

How to use strawberry seed oil?
This oil can be used as a standalone product – simply apply a few drops to skin and gently massage, wait for absorption. Alternative use: spread a few drops of oil on your palms, then massage into hair ends.
It also works well as a nail and cuticle serum – simply apply oil to nails and massage into cuticles – it will excellently nourish your nails. Strawberry seed oil can enhance ready-made cosmetics – simply take a small amount of cosmetic and add a few drops of oil outside the main packaging, this will provide beneficial properties to your daily cosmetic.
Suggested concentration in cosmetics is 1-100%.
Strawberry seed oil composition:
Strawberry seed oil contains vitamin E and F, palmitic acid, stearic acid, omega 3 and 6 acids, ellagic acid. The latter belongs to the antioxidant group, showing anti-inflammatory properties. This oil also contains fatty acids such as:
- oleic acid – creates a protective film on skin surface, prevents TEWL, moisturizes and smooths.
- linolenic acid – shows soothing properties, calms inflammation, smooths.
- linoleic acid – acts moisturizing, can soothe inflammation, reduce redness, prevents skin pore clogging.
