White tea – properties
White tea is harvested when the leaves are still small buds. The buds covered with white mesquite are dried. This type of tea is the least processed, and as a result, it is also assumed to be the healthiest. White tea is high in polyphenols and catechins. They are antioxidants that destroy free radicals and reduce oxidative stress. This helps reduce the rate of aging and has an anti-cancer effect.
