The PEG-free solubilizer in cosmetics forms a clear liquid, colorless to pale yellow. It is obtained through a chemical synthesis process from raw materials of natural origin.
Application
The PEG-free solubilizer can be utilized in the development of cosmetic products containing ingredients difficult to dissolve in the aqueous phase. It is particularly effective in formulations where uniform dispersion of essential oils, fragrance compositions, or lipophilic active ingredients is crucial.
It can be applied, among others, in:
- cosmetic toners and mists,
- face and body care preparations,
- cleansing products,
- hair cosmetics,
- fragrance preparations,
- formulations containing essential oils,
- cosmetic products designed without PEG.
The final concentration and method of incorporating the raw material should be selected based on the type of ingredient being solubilized and other components of the formulation. Laboratory tests are recommended to assess the clarity, stability, and sensory properties of the finished product.
