The oil has refreshing and toning properties, as well as strong antiseptic, cleansing and refreshing effects. It contains d-limonene and purifying action, which accounts for as much as 73% of its composition.
Application:
Due to its energizing fragrance, lemon oil is used in aromatherapy. Its scent lifts the spirit, supports concentration and creates an atmosphere of freshness. When added to cosmetics, it has a cleansing and toning effect. It works especially well in products for oily and combination skin. Lemon oil is also often found in shampoos and hair conditioners, where it helps regulate sebum secretion and adds a healthy shine to hair.
