Its mechanism of action is to stimulate the production of collagen, elastin and hyaluronic acid, which helps to regenerate the skin and improve its elasticity. Studies have shown that Oligopeptide-1 significantly increases elastin and type I collagen precursor content in the skin, resulting in visible wrinkle reduction effects. It is used in a variety of cosmetics, such as face and eye creams and lotions.
Produced by biological fermentation, it has high purity (≥98.0%) and a recommended concentration of 0.01% to 0.5%.
