Description

Mace extract is a finely ground powder with a brownish color, characteristic odor and taste. The product meets quality standards, including sieve analysis with 95% sifting through an 80 mesh sieve, maximum ash content of 5% and maximum drying loss of 5%.

The seeds of the plant are used to obtain the extract, and ethanol and water are used for extraction. The product is GMO-free, meeting U.S. Pharmacopeial Standards (USP) for pesticide residues and heavy metals. It also complies with AOAC microbiological standards, containing no S. aureus, E.coli, Salmonella or Pseudomonas aeruginosa.
