Buriti seed oil

Buriti seed oil is obtained by pressing the seeds of the Amazonian palm Mauritia flexuosa. In Brazil, the Buriti palm is known as the “Tree of Life”. The oil from this palm tree has a very interesting fat composition— it is rich in unsaturated fatty acids including oleic acid, which makes it an important cosmetic product.

For mature skin:
Buriti seed oil penetrates deep into the skin nourishing its deepest layers. By doing so, it can reduce fine lines as well as regenerate the skin making it more elastic. In addition, it stimulates the production of collagen and elastin. The oil also soothes irritations associated with too intense exposure to sunlight.
